You would think that in this day and age, with as much technology as there is, that it would be easy to do a free background people search on someone. However, the truth is that it is not as easy as you might think. Actually, that is a bit of a misstatement. The best way to go about this is to put the person's full name, including middle name if you have it, in quotation marks. This will narrow the results down a bit to include only queries that have pretty much, only that person's name in it.
However, and this is a big however, you will still, most likely, get a lot of results back. If you have the time, you can go through them one by one to see what you uncover. I would still suggest you try this method, however, if your results are in the hundreds, or even thousands, then, you may want to consider other, more efficient methods.
You see, the problem is that there are not enough financial resources allocated to make this feasible at the federal, or even state level. In other words, there is no central data base that ties together all the information that is available state to state. This would be a huge undertaking, and would cost a lot of money to put together.
Maybe this will be available in the future, but for now it's not available. However, there are many sites that offer these services for a small, one time fee. The advantage to using these sites is that, if there is a result to report, you will get it back virtually instantaneously. You can also take an option that will allow you to do unlimited searches.
